Laura FinesLaura Fines was born and raised in rural Manitoba. The first step in her career was in the insurance business, and this was followed by her decision to obtain her university degree. Then in 1987, Laura and her husband moved to Vancouver where they have raised their two daughters. Laura chose to be a stay at home mother and was able to combine this with working as a self-employed office consultant and architectural librarian. More recently, Laura is enjoying working as a personal assistant to the elderly or those in need.
Laura lost both her parents and grandmother within a 16 month span. Laura was fortunate to have time with both her parents before they died. As well as reminiscing about their lives and the love they shared for each other, they were able to discuss funeral plans, and the specifics of their will. The fact that everything was left in perfect order was a gift from her parents during this hard time. This inspired Laura to create this planner, which she hopes will be a gift that benefits others and their loved ones. |
